My entry into a computer at home started out with a 90Mhz Packard Bell desktop system, running Windows 3.11 with 8MB of RAM and a 545MB drive. When we purchased the computer, it came with another 8MB RAM and the Windows 95 upgrade disk which we eventually installed but not right away.
That got me hooked on computers, which lead to frankensteining many other systems together, usually using much older hardware. It was in that way I got exposure to some older stuff, 286, 386, and 486's, DOS only, 5.25" floppies, and all that fun stuff.
