My first computer was a Pentium I, that was too large to fit on the desk and was knocked off multiple times. By the time we got our next computer it was missing the front panel and CD ROM face completely, and the chassis sat at a roughly 20 degree angle.

My first computer that was just mine was a Compaq Presario with an AMD Single-Core Sempron and 1GB RAM, 120GB HDD. This is where I started learning HTML/CSS, tinkering, and truly started PC gaming. I upgraded that machine to 2GB RAM, modded the Sempron to enable a disabled core on the CPU (something with a copper wire bridge between two pins), and added a 500GB SATA HDD to begin my media collection.
